From Team Copyright Infringement: Created for UT Austin Game Jam in 5 days

Katie's Skate Run is a 2d side-scrolling platformer about a roller rink employee named Katie who runs into some problems on the job. Help her defeat enemies and collect stars to get the highest score you can without falling!
Controls:

 - W to jump

- Wx2 to double jump

- S to stomp on enemies / come down quickly

You gain one point for each second you last. Collecting a star gives you 5 points, and successfully stomping on an enemy results in 7 points.

Functional but boring.

Why are small boys killing Katie and vice-versa?

thats kind of the point lol. there was supposed to be a LOT more added to the game, including different levels, mechanisms, and a general storyline , but its impossible to do all that in only 5 days

What did those kids ever do to Katie?

Also, is it just me, or do I get some Lacey's Games vibes from this? My horror game-loving ass even thought it was gonna get creepy at one point.

hahaha dont know but they probably deserve it

as for the horror game comment, thats an interesting observation! wasnt the intention , especially not for a game made in such a short period of time, but its nice to see someones interpretation of it ! thx for playing

Katie, the roller that can crush "Mortys".

One problem I have encountered is that the screen movement often stops being fluid, starting when I restart the game for the second time.

P.S: And the music isn't looped.

Dearest Player,

Thank you for providing feedback, but also for removing your previous comment about Katie being a 'waifu'. For your information, the main character of this game is 14, making your statement not only weird, but probably illegal in some states. The team here at Copyright Infringement encourages and approves of the edit of your original 'waifu' comment.

Thanks for Playing!

I thought that, and above all, thanks for clarifying the age of the character.

I didn't mean it with such bad intentions, but I'm aware that the term has been widely used for bad-sounding contexts on the Internet.
